Dushan Karunaratne
Dushan Karunaratne is a senior People, Culture and Capability leader with over a decade of experience across complex, regulated, and operationally intensive environments in the Pacific and South Asia. As General Manager – People & Culture, he provides strategic leadership across workforce planning, organizational design, employee relations, talent management, leadership development, quality assurance, HR governance, occupational safety and health.
He has a strong track record in aligning people strategies with business objectives, leading enterprise-wide change initiatives, and designing and implementing integrated talent management frameworks, succession planning models, performance management systems, and organizational structures that support operational excellence and long-term sustainability. His contributions have been recognized through multiple awards at local, national, and international levels.
Dushan holds a Bachelor of Business in Human Resource Management and International Business from Queensland University of Technology (QUT), a Master of Business Administration from the University of the South Pacific and is a Certified Safety Officer accredited by the National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH). He is a Member of the Australian Human Resources Institute (AHRI) and the Fiji Human Resources Institute (FHRI).
