Ashwin Pal
Ashwin Pal is an accomplished finance and investment executive with more than 20 years of leadership experience spanning investment management, treasury, capital markets, corporate finance, and risk management. As Senior Portfolio Manager – Defensive Assets at the Fiji National Provident Fund (FNPF), he is responsible for overseeing treasury, fixed income investments, and commercial lending, playing a key role in the strategic management of one of Fiji’s largest institutional investment portfolios.
Throughout his career, Mr. Pal has held senior finance and treasury positions with FNPF, Fiji Airways, the South Pacific Stock Exchange, and the Training & Productivity Authority of Fiji. His extensive experience has equipped him with deep expertise in investment strategy, treasury operations, financial governance, risk management, and organisational leadership. He is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, the Fiji Institute of Accountants, the Institute of Internal Auditors Fiji, and the Financial Services Institute of Australasia (FINSIA).
Mr. Pal holds a Certificate in Executive Management from the University of New South Wales, a Master of Commerce in Accounting, a Postgraduate Diploma in Commerce (Professional Accounting), and a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting & Financial Management and Banking & Finance from the University of the South Pacific. He brings to the Board strong commercial acumen, sound governance practices, and a strategic perspective that supports Vision Investments Limited’s commitment to sustainable growth and long-term value creation.
