Subhas Parshotam
Subhas Parshotam is an experienced legal practitioner and business leader with almost five decades of professional service across law, corporate governance, and commercial enterprise in Fiji and New Zealand. He is admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor to both the High Court of New Zealand and the High Court of Fiji and serves as the Managing Partner of Parshotam Lawyers, where he has led significant legal, commercial, and advisory work across multiple sectors.
Subhas holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Laws from the University of Auckland, qualifications that have supported his long-standing contributions to legal practice, business strategy, and sector leadership. His early career included senior accounting roles with Nissan Motors New Zealand and academic appointments at Auckland Technical Institute and the Fiji Institute of Technology.
He has held key leadership positions in the legal profession, including serving as a Council Member and Secretary of the Fiji Law Society, and he was appointed Notary Public in 1991. In recognition of his contributions, he received Lifetime Membership of the Fiji Law Society and the 50th Independence Commemorative Award from the President of Fiji in 2021.
Beyond the legal field, Subhas maintains significant business interests across hospitality, retail, real estate, and investment sectors, including directorships and shareholdings in several major Fijian enterprises.
He is based in Suva and remains active in business, governance, and professional development.
